DOES THE BRAND MATTER?

Everybody and his brother have their favorite brand of HVAC system. However, my personal advice (based on my experience) to all of you is don't shop by brand but shop for a good contractor that will stand behind his work if something goes wrong. The truth is there is nothing special about a specific brand anymore (they are not made like your old clinker that lasted over 25, even 30 years). Nowadays, most of the HVAC components are outsourced with a very few exceptions. I always tell my customers and I'll repeat again: "Choose a good contractor, keep it simple and support American!".
